The Secret Place
Eden was created an atmosphere of worship. God made man in order to fellowship with Him and to receive worship from the work of His hands. God was training the heart of man to worship before the devil showed up and interrupt the process
"And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.". Genesis 3:8
The work of redemption brought man and woman back in fellowship with Christ Jesus. We have to cultivate the presence of God to restore the Garden of Eden atmosphere, "He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Most High"abiding in His presence brings a rub off His Presence on us and so we become the carrier of His grace contacted in worship.
Today so many activities seek to distract us from abiding in the secret place. Mike Murdock shared his experience on this, he said whenever he was having his quiet time the devil distracted him with some details to break his focus in God's presence so he said he kept a pen and notepad with which he wrote down such thoughts without leaving the secret place. He was able to make the devil work to his advantage, while he kept his focus on God.
