When God Choose Someone!!

Community Dear!

The trajectory of David until the confrontation with Goliath, is one of the biblical studies that has occupied my time the most.

David did not have credit from his father, he did not even consider the hypothesis that David could be chosen to be anointed king.

"Then he asked Jesse:" These are all the children you have? "Jesus answered:" I still have the youngest, but he is taking care of the sheep. "Samuel said: 'Bring him here, we will not sit down to eat until he comes.'" (1 Samuel 16.11)

Saul, the king until then, did not consider David either. He demotivated him.

"David said to Saul:" No one should stay with the heart bowed down by that Philistine; your servant will go and fight with him. Saul replied: 'You have no conditions to fight against that Philistine; you are only a boy, and he is a warrior from youth. "(1 Samuel 17.32-33).

His brother, did not consider it and criticized by discouraging him.

"When Eliab, the older brother, heard David talking to the soldiers, he became very angry with him and asked him, 'Why did you come here? With whom did he leave those few sheep in the desert? I know you are presumptuous and your heart is bad; "You came only to see the battle." (1 Samuel 17.28)

The enemy did not consider it. He despised, humiliated and, also, discouraged.

"Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his squire in front, approached David, looked at David with contempt, saw that he was only a boy, blond and good-looking, and paid little attention to him." He said to David: "Am I a dog, that you come against me with pieces of stick?" And the Philistine cursed David, invoking his gods, and said, "Come here, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the sky and, the animals of the field!" (I Samuel 17.41-44)

David had already been confronted three times the same day with people trying to stop him, but he did not remain silent before the affront. Because he knew who was with him and who he was representing. We must not remain below the insults and intimidations of the devil. We must resist yes, firm in the faith, but also attack it with the sword that is the Word of God.

"David said to the Philistine:" You come against me with a sword, with spears and with darts, but I am going against you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you challenged. Today the Lord will deliver it into my hands, I will kill him and cut off his head. Today I will give the corpses of the Philistine army to the birds of the sky and to the wild animals, and all the earth will know that there is God in Israel. All who are here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord grants victory; for the battle is of the Lord, and he will deliver all of you into our hands. (I Samuel 17.45-47 - NIV)

The biggest and most important had already been presented to him. He had already motivated David. I had a relationship. David knew who the God he served was.

"The Lord who delivered me from the claws of the lion and the claws of the bear will deliver me from the hands of that Philistine." (1 Samuel 17.37)

In the eyes of the world, we may seem the worst option, but it is the Lord who enables us. And everything we need comes from Him. It is He who makes true and real His plans in our respect. Since we believe in Him and His Word in the first place, and not in our human capacities. Not in what we see or feel.

"The Lord does not see as man: man sees the appearance, but the Lord sees the heart". (1Samuel 16.7)

It is God who chooses us. Although all words and circumstances are contrary to what God says about you, keep what He says. Remain trusting in Him and will be honored.

"Then the Lord said to Samuel, This is it, get up and join." (1 Samuel 16.12 - NIV)

The enemy always acts in the shadows where it is not seen and often little perceived. Well, he is a defeated and cowardly. But it is from that place that he throws suggestions that intend to stop. He knows that before a servant of God who has conviction of who is a son, he does not have and will never have the slightest opportunity.

A child of God must know who his Father is. That makes all the difference. We live in an alliance much greater than that David lived. We can and will do even greater things since we consider what Jesus has given us and done for us and trust in the Holy Spirit, in the power of God that dwells in us.

You did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; so that whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
John 15:16

Hi Emilio, I always say: with God we are the majority, no matter how big an army comes against us! God trains whoever chooses, so that he will win.

That History is very impressive, Although no one thought that David could be anointed in oil and chosen by God; This makes it clear to us that hearts are known only to God and that the purpose of a man on earth in the service of goodness is a question of the Creator himself, to fill this world with graces and to give love and joy happiness.

In another aspect, as you say Brother Emilio, in these times and having Christ bought our salvation and carved the earth for which good planting of its fruits, we can become signifiers, doing good things and bringing the wind of change the world, filling each corner with freedom and love, an example is all @Steemchurch, as well as @Sirknight, @Darlenys01 and yourself, Christian men and women committed to the work of Christ being fulfilled and executed. Blessings.

Inspiring analysis brother CEO, I had never read this story from that point of view, in fact, David did not have human approval but was chosen by God and that is more than enough to conquer great battles of life. If God with us, who against us?

Goliath thought narrowly and therefore underrated his opponent, David thinking that he could win early. But we should bear in mind that who God has anointed, mankind cannot reverse it.

Great article Lord, this means that David had no luck with anyone except God who gave him his anointing, his grace and his favor! The time will come in life that at the time of conquest, all will turn their backs on us, but if God approves, there is victory. bye

My children say that I am a good Father and, I believe them!
