LEAD BY EXAMPLE!
Dear Community!
Whether on the battlefield, in a company or in the Church, the best leaders are always able to inspire greatness in others through their words and actions. And although the problems faced by countries and companies have changed over the years, the qualities of effective leaders remain.
"... the Son of man, who did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many"
(Matthew 20:28)
Jesus Christ is the supreme example of spiritual leadership.
When most people think of leadership, they usually imagine a military officer giving orders or an employer closely supervising their employees, making sure all the work is done.
These aspects can be part of leadership, but it is not the essence of spiritual leadership. Spiritual leadership is the opposite of what many people think. Spiritual leadership is the leadership that serves. Jesus Christ himself taught us: "Like the Son of man, who did not come to be served, but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28).
Jesus was definitely a leader.
He was the leader of the twelve disciples and a much larger group of followers. Jesus did not lead giving orders or supervising, but yes, being a servant and serving alongside his followers.
Spiritual leadership involves humbling yourself and doing the tasks that nobody else wants to do. In the time of Jesus, the act of washing the feet was to be attributed to the lowest of the servants. However, at the last supper, Jesus humbled himself and washed the disciples' feet.
After that, he declared: "When he finished washing, Jesus put his cloak back on and went back to his place, and asked them: Do you understand what I have done to them? You call me" Master and Lord ", and rightly so Because I am, well, if I, being your Lord and Master, washed your feet, you should also wash one another's feet, I gave you the example, so that you can do as I did.
I tell you truly that no slave is greater than his master, just as no messenger is greater than the one who sent him. "Now that you know these things, happy they will be if you practice them" (John 13: 12-17).
True spiritual leadership, with a spirit of humility and service, will make people follow him why they want, not why they need. True humility and spiritual leadership are attractive, people want to follow a person who serves on their side and give an example Perhaps the apostle Paul offers the best summary: "They become my imitators, as I am of Christ" (1 Corinthians 11: 1).
Genuine humility and spiritual leadership are attractive.
People want to follow a person who serves their side and give them an example. Perhaps the apostle Paul offers the best summary: "People want to follow a person who serves their side and give them an example." Perhaps the apostle Paul offers the best summary: "They become my imitators, as I am. of Christ "(1 Corinthians 11:1).
"Nothing tests a man's ability to lead others as his day-to-day acting to lead himself."
Thomas J. Watson
All genuine leadership begins in a certain way as a result of despair; the knowledge that we are helpless sinners in need of a great savior. This moves us to listen to God in his word and cry out asking for vision in prayer. This leads us to trust in God and wait on his great and precious promises. This frees us to have a life of love in service that, in the end, makes people see and give glory to our Father in heaven.
Thanks for the good commenting @celestial15
"If the Lord does not build the house, the builders labor in vain If the Lord does not take care of the city, the watchers watch in vain In vain you get up early and go to bed too late to eat a bread of fatigue, because God grants sleep to his loved ones. " (Psalm 127: 1,2) The spiritual leader knows that ultimately the productivity of his labors rests in the hands of God and that God can do more while he sleeps than he can do awake without God.
Excellent commenting sister Bertha. Very much thanks you
You said it all ,true leaders lead by example ,even at the church today ,leaders put their own affairs first to that of the church and that is not what Jesus thought us.
Stay blessed as we go through this Lenten season.
Amen brother @egbujorvictor, thanks for passing
Jesus as leader leads us to a complete model of leadership, in which authority and service, love and truth, firmness and sensitivity, discipline and compassion, fidelity and submission walk together. It is to shepherd with a loving heart and to form disciples by teaching, example and service. It is to have a position of authority, but to act humbly as a servant of all.
Certanly my dear Lorennys
Brother Emilio, I love your first image used.... It is catchy, it well explains leadership roles, as a leader, you know the way, you show the way and also go the way. These three qualities of a leader must be seen in every good leader. Thank you for this great post!
Thank you Brother Oppongk, you are always so motivating and kind. God bless you more!

hello brother excellent writing. The words of a good leader should be his equal. Our Lord Jesus Christ, speaks and just as he spoke, it was his acting his behavior. Information about what will happen on your land and on the same date. And so he did what he said. What was part of his mission. being able to dominate by his will and not that of the father. The best example of leadership is that of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
God bless you
