I chose to share with you two thoughts that have been key to me! We know that there is a time for everything in our life, but what to do while it is still not the time to live what you want? Or, when what you want is simply not happening!

1 Be your best version now, regardless of the season of life you are in

I love the story of Joseph of the Bible (Gen: 39 - 41), he is a great example of life for me. He was always the best, when he served he was the best, when prisoner he was the best and when he was finally exalted, as one of the most powerful men in Egypt, he kept his essence. Even inside the prison, he was a leader, even in the difficult place he cared for the people, heard God and glorified Him! Sometimes we hope that something good happens to position ourselves then, that the right person arrives to act correctly then, that a dream comes true to be happy, that's not right!

When the people of Israel were exiled, in Babylon, many rebelled and could only think of the frustration of the present and the plans to return home. But God wanted them to learn to live the best until that phase,

"Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles, who have sported from Jerusalem to Babylon:" Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruits. Get married and have sons and daughters; they choose women to marry their children and give their daughters in marriage, so that they also have sons and daughters. They multiply and do not diminish. Seek the prosperity of the city for which I have encouraged you and pray to the Lord on your behalf, because your prosperity depends on its prosperity. Jeremiah 29: 4-

The most precious good for God, are not our conquests and realizations, he certainly rejoices with them, but his interest is our heart. The various and adverse situations in life certainly have the potential to strengthen their essence.

2 Value what you have, to the detriment of what you do not have.

This is the traditional story of the glass half full or half empty, it all depends on who sees.

In waiting processes, we tend to overestimate what we do not have, the things we are still waiting for... Maybe because it is not the time to have, maybe because you can not or because something is wrong. The problem in seeing only what is missing is that it is difficult to live the best with what we have. In the example of Joseph, we see that God was with him, even in prison, and even there he developed his gifts, interpreting dreams and administering the prison. He did not have freedom, but he had the backing of God and the confidence of the jailer and some of his companions, Jose chose to value that, which was an important factor for him to be loose! I ask you, is your life summarized in the things you do not have? And what is already your reality? And the people who are already around you? And the place you are? And the friends you have? And the job you already have? And the dreams you have made? And the doors that God is already opening?
