Focus on Jesus

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of oour fatih; who for thejoy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at theright hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself let you be wearied and faint in your minds.

It is very important and crucial that as Christians our focus remains on Christ as our savior and the path to the father. You may have noticed that most often than not we come across verses in the bible admonishing us to keep looking unto Jesus, this is so because He is the author and finisher of our faith as described in our verse for today, thus our faith is based on him, had he not risen after death then all we are doing as Christians would have been in vain, however he rose and has all the power over the living and the dead. He is capable of doing for us whatever we may need in our journey as Christians. It is for this reason why Paul said i can do all things through Christ who strengthened me. The knowledge of who we are as partkaters of God's divine nature becomes clearer and clearer and easier as we conditnue to focus on Jesus thus enabling us to manifest the glory of the God.

It is my prayer that as you discover this truth today, you understand how important it is as a Child of God to focus on Christ knowing that he alone can help you in achieving the impossible. Have a blessed day even as you meditate on the Word for today.
