Remember that we are in the world but we are not of the world. Jesus Christ said:
We are the light of the world.
Just as the light in the darkness shines, our witness must shine everywhere, first from our home, until the end of the world ... so that people may glorify God, seeing our good works.
As followers of Jesus Christ we must not love the world or the things that are in the world, it is necessary to abstain from carnal desires renouncing impiety and filth living sober lives taking as an example Moses who chose to be mistreated before to keep ethical principles and morals that I had learned since childhood but above all suffer for the people of God not fearing the wrath of Pharaoh but remained faithful to God in relation to:
Moses chose before to be mistreated with the people of God ... he left Egypt.
Furthermore, it is important not to be influenced by worldly currents as the psalmist said:
Blessed is the man who did not walk in the counsel of evil.
Psalms 1: 1
The Apostle Paul also spoke similar words to the brothers of Rome:
Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of the word of God.
Rom 12: 2
Also, take care of worldly distractions by constantly asking the Lord to turn our eyes away so as not to see vanity or allow us to set our sights on something unjust, nor to accept the pressure and influence of others as an occasion for the flesh. King Rehoboam foolishly followed the advice of the young based on 1 King 12: 3-16:
I will not put unfair things in front of my eyes.
Psalm 101: 3
Finally, Jesus Christ said: By this all will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another. All our things we must do with love, so that those who do not believe by the word, create seeing our good way of living: unanimous, meek and humble of heart.
I pray the Lord bless your life being prospered in all things.
