Beloved brothers, now we ask ourselves, what will happen immediately after the rapture of the Lord's church? Certainly, it is a disturbing question, which leads us to review the book of revelations, whose author we know is the apostle John, who at the time of receiving all these revelations was found as a prisoner on the island of Patmos, product of Great persecution against the Christians in the first century under the Roman Empire, having as emperor at that time Domitian.

Although the book of revelations has a language full of symbols, it emphasizes in chapter 5 that the Lord's church is in heaven and awaits the judgments that God will bring to earth through the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets and the 7 bowls of God's fury. This shows that what comes immediately after the rapture of the Lord's church is God's judgments about the wickedness of men on earth; exactly as it happened in the flood in the days of Noah when God punished the wickedness of men on earth, only Noah and his family were saved. In chapter 20 reference is made to the marriage of the lamb and the return of Christ to the earth with the Lord's church to later establish the political kingdom of God over all the kingdoms of the earth that have Jerusalem as the main place of his throne .

The church in heaven with the lamb.

Dear reader, it is interesting to know that the central part of the book of Revelation from chapter 4 to chapter 20 speaks of the Lamb that was sacrificed and deserves to receive power and wealth, wisdom and strength, honor and praise. as mentioned in Revelation 5: 12.

This same Lamb was the only one who found himself worthy both in heaven and on earth and under the earth to take the book that was in the right hands of who was sitting on the throne. From the moment you took the book to open its seals, keep in mind that verse 8 says that there was worship and praise from the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders. Now, beloved in the Lord, stop carefully and review verses 9 and 10, which highlight the role of the twenty-four elders. As they sing, they recognize that the Lamb has redeemed us from all lineages, languages, people and nations; and verse 10 emphasizes that they will reign on earth.

This is great, the twenty-four elders are the heavenly representatives of all the redeemed, glorified and enthroned, who continually worship God and manifest that we will be kings and priests so that our God may reign with Christ on earth.

You realize, dear brother, that immediately after the ecstasy of the church we will be in heaven with the Lamb until the events that God has prepared for all who remain on earth are fulfilled.

The twenty-four elders symbolize those redeemed by the blood of the lamb, that is, the church of the Lord. In addition to worshiping and praising the God of heaven, keep in mind that the church in heaven will play another role immediately after the rapture.

The church in heaven is a witness to the judgments of God.

Dear reader, notice that the church (the twenty-four elders) is looking at the Lamb not only to take the book but to open it and untie its seven seals.

The church will be expectant of what contains the seven seals.
If we were to carefully review chapter 6 of Revelation, there we will find future events that will happen exactly on earth immediately after the rapture of the church. The seals speak in a generalized manner of the judgments of God on earth in response to the prayers of the saints. The seventh seal opens for the judgment of the seven trumpets, which describe in more detail the judgments that will come when the Lord's church is taken from the earth. In the same way will come the judgments of the seven bowls of God's wrath. All this will be as the prophet Daniel says in chapter 12.1: "and it will be a moment of anguish, which was never since there were people until then ..."

This makes anyone's hair stand on end, it is not the time to doubt in the gospel. It is time of consecration and more prayers.

Our incorruptible clothing will be made of fine linen, clean and bright, symbolizing the righteous actions of the saints. These are your righteous actions here on earth that will entitle you to dress in fine linen. All this is spectacular. Do not doubt this great celebration that will be in the heavens. Read verse 9 that says: happy are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. I enjoy this word and I hope you do too.
