Wealth is more than Earnings

Wealth is Possessing financial wealth, rich. Abundant in quality or quantity, profuse.

Wealth is a lot of things. It is much more than just money. Wealth depends on who you are, what your interests are, and where you're at in life. It is defined differently by every person, but ultimately, true wealth is freedom.It is the freedom to do what you wish, when you wish, with whomever you wish.

How do we create wealth, is it by earning good salary or our motivition, or by God grace. But wealth creation is not always what we think it is

Genesis 12:2 “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.”

Proverbs 30:7-8 “Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:”

Wealth creation is not a salary based concept. You might say “I am earning a good salary, therefore I am fine and comfortable.” Such a person may truly be comfortable, but that is not wealth. Wealth creation is beyond living in the zone of comfort; it is stretching yourself to live beyond comfort such that you create opportunities for others by creating solutions to problems. Wealth creation is all about solving problems on a large scale. Salary or monthly remuneration will only solve your family’s problems, and probably a couple of other people’s around you. When it comes to building institutions that will bless humanity, such as hospitals, schools, shelters, NGOs, etc.; those who live on the level of comfort cannot do such things.

It takes a truly wealthy man to be interested and willing to partake in a multi-million or multi-billion dollar project that will bless humanity. A salary earner cannot bear it, no matter how much he earns monthly. There is a world of difference between just having your needs met, and creating wealth. To have one’s needs met is a good thing, and it is the blessing of God,but riches and wealth are in another realm. Prosperity brings a man to the realm of more than enough, and even in that realm, there are levels. Wealth is not just having your bills paid and having a little extra to your name. That’s not wealth. Sadly, many are complacent because they seem to be doing fine at the moment. Such persons are ignorant or insensitive to the plight of suffering humanity around them. Beloved, do not be complacent. It is God’s will for you to be wealthy so you can provide succour to a suffering and dying world.

Beloved, open up your heart for God to impregnate you with heavenly visions that will solve earthly problems. It takes a vision that is heavenly and great to create wealth. Henry Ford was not thinking about his family’s comfort alone. He wanted to be a blessing to the whole world, and so God blessed him with a problem-solving idea of creating a production line that will mass-produce cars. The family is wealthy today just because he saw something beyond mere comfort. Well, the core principle of wealth creation is love – the love of God moving you to want to solve problems for others. Problem solvers are wealthy people.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Standing as a sinner, being scornful, and taking the advice of ungodly people are all things that keep you from accessing God’s blessings.But when you set your heart and mind on godly things you are constantly nourished, always fruitful, and whatever you do prospers because you have that Godly blessing upon you.
You will be constantly fed.You'll be fruitful in due season.You will not wither when things get tough (in a dry season). You will prosper in everything you do when you consistently seek godly things.

God is the source of all riches, and we are called to the noble task of managing God's gracious gifts.
