The principal message of the bible is the proclamation of God’s kingdom, millions of Christians around the globe rest their hope on the promise of a better world and a better life in God’s kingdom. Christ dedicated his life to preaching and declaring the good news of the kingdom of God.

Christ Love for Christians for Humans pushed him to exert himself, trekking miles around Israel in order to preach about God’s kingdom, healing the sick and raising the dead.

When Jesus saw his Friend Mary weeping and mourning the death of her brother Lazarus, he gave groaned and gave way to tears, Jesus was so compassionate that he brought Lazarus back to life in an unexplainable miracle.

The Gospel of John Gives a Perfect Account Of The resurrection of Lazarus in John Chapter 11 Verses 32-44

**When Mary arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, she fell at his feet and said to him: ”Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”
When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he groaned within himself and became troubled.
He said: “where have you laid him?”
They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” Jesus gave way to tears. At that the Jews began to say: “See what affection he had for him!” but some said could: “Could not this man open the eyes of the blind man prevent this man from dying?”

Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. “Take away the stone,” he said.
“But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”**

Jesus knew that the relief Lazarus resurrection offered was only temporary because sooner or later he would return back to dust. God’s Kingdom would put an end to all these sufferings and problems. The Bible promises us that war, poverty, death and food shortage will be no more.

War

Hundreds of millions of lives have been lost to war, in God’s kingdom nation will not lift up sword against nation nor will they learn war anymore.

ISAIAH CHAPTER 2 VERSE 4

He will render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning spears. Nations will lift not up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.

PSALM CHAPTER 46 VERSE 9

He is bringing an end to wars throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the military wagons with fire.

POVERTY

Psalm Chapter 9 Verse 18

But the Poor will not always be forgotten nor will the hope of the meek ever perish.

Psalm Chapter 72 verses 12-13

For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
the afflicted who have no one to help.
He will take pity on the weak and the needy
and save the needy from death.

Death And Resurrection

Psalm Chapter 37 Verse 29

he righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein FOREVER

Isaiah Chapter 25 Verse 8

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

John Chapter 5 Verse 28-29

Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.

Food shortage

Psalm Chapter 72 Verse 16

There will be an abundance of grain on the earth, on top of the mountains it will overflow.

Considering these bible promises about God’s kingdom, We can see why Jesus was so eager to preach about God’s kingdom to those who would listen for he knew the Kingdom will bring a permanent solution to all the problems we see today.

The Lord Taught us to always pray for God's kingdom in the Book of Matthew Chapter 6 Verse 9

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen

God's Kingdom promises a better life for all who are faithful in the worship to God.
