Prayer For The Steemchurch Community

On the first Sunday of every October, hundreds of millions of people around the world join together to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

In just a few years, this event has become the largest Israel-focused prayer event in history. The day is set aside to raise global awareness and intercession for God's purpose to be fulfilled in Israel.

This noble event should be replicated in every community and countr, We could narrow down Jerusalem to the Church of God, your town, that environment you are at present.

Today provides an opportunity for you to examine if you are enlisted in the army of those daily seeking the face of the Lord that His will be done in your ‘Jerusalem'.

Many communities and countries have remained vulnerable because people spend more time complaining about what is wrong instead of praying.
Whatever happens in the physical has its root in the spiritual and the evil in a land can only be truly resisted by the effectual fervent prayers of the saints. Paul exhorted Timothy that“...that supplication, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority...” (1Tim.2:1)

Psalm Chapter 122 vs 6-9

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.

Prayer For The Church

Father, i pray for a wholesome tongue to speak good concerning my community, the steemchurch and my country; to pray constantly and continually for her.
Heal our land and economy.
Guide our Leaders to do right in Christ name.
Amen.
