Don't Be Afraid,Only Believe

Many times we go through some difficult moments in life and we could not understand the will of God in such situations. During those times, we need to completely trust God that He is able to do the impossible. Jesus had a special relationship with lazurus family for they loved God and he also enjoyed their presence whenever He visited them.

However, this would not stop the tragedy happening to them. He even stayed two days longer after the news that one He loved was ill. Why will He do that? So that God's name may be glorified and this miracle would help disciples in their quest from doubt to belief.

The phrase DONT BE AFRAID appeared in the bible for quite number of times. This is enough for us to be rest assured that in what seems like a hopeless situation or circumstances, God is reminding us to live everyday of our lives without fear.

Certain things may happen or come our way, although they may seem to be impossible or terrifying but it is an opportunity for the glory of God to be revealed in us and most importantly, for God's name to be glorified. We should never give up on God no matter what we are going through. When Jesus said This sickness is not unto death but it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it, He meant it but they don't believe him. So when situations appear terrifying, what we should do is let the fear activates faith in us.

Let situation switch on rays of hope in us through reflection and confession of God's word,prayer and praise.

Remember;The Word Was Written For Our Learning so that through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures we might have hope.

John Chapter 11 Verse 40-44

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
