YOU EMPOWER YOUR ENEMIES BY “HOLY-GHOST PURSUE-THEM-PRAYERS”
In Acts 1:8, Jesus said that when the Holy Ghost shall come upon the disciples, He would give them power.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy . Ghost is Come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses ' unto me both in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria and unto the utterrnost part of the earth (Acts 1 8).
Truly in chapter two of the book of Acts, the Holy Ghost came' upon them and gave them power and boldness to preach the ' gospel. That is why, when we are in church, we usually sing a song that “Holy Ghost fire should fall 0n us just like the day of Pentecost” because we understand that when the “Holy . Ghost fire falls on us, He will not burn us, but will give us power to speak with boldness, as it gave the Apostles in the book of Acts
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness (Acts 4:31)
Therefore, if we ask the Holy Ghost fire now to pursue our enemies and it really pursues them, meets and lands on them, what will it give to them? It will give them power because there is no place in the bible where the Holy Ghost fire wasused, either by the disciples or the Apostles to burn anybody. In the bible, Jesus said: I am going away; I will send the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, which will teach you all things (John 14:26).
He did not say that He is sending the Holy Ghost to us to burn and consume our enemies. The Holy Ghost as Jesus said is to teach us and make us have knowledge in all things because knowledge is power. ‘
Some people think and say that the Holy Ghost can not fall on sinners, that it can only consume them. Who told you that? Why do you think that you are not a sinner before the grace came upon you? For the bible says that “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. (Romans 3:23).
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourself; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Eph.2:8-9).
It is only by grace. So, it can fall on anybody according to His grace: In the scripture, it is clearly stated that as Peter was just speaking the word, the Holy Ghost fell on all the people, even before they were baptized.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost feel on all them which heard the word. ( Acts 1 0:44)
Meanwhile, many preachers still believed that before the Holy Ghost can fall on anybody, except the person must first be baptized with water after a confession and believe. But what happened in the case of Peter was not so. This is because if Peter was to make an Altar-call, not all the people that received the Holy Ghost would have been convinced enough to come out as everybody could not have received equal understanding and have the full belief of what Peter was just talking about. It was the same Holy Ghost, in Acts 913-22 that came upon Saul and convinced him as it was not written in the bible that he (Saul who later became Paul) was a baptized Christian before or when he started his journey to Damascus. Paul was not consumed but instead at the end of the exercise after he was prayed for by Ananias, the bible recorded that he increased in strength at which all the Jews were surprised.
But Saul increased the more in strength and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this IS very Christ (Acts 9. 22).
He got power, inspirations and wisdom with which he wrote most of the books in the New Testament for Christians to follow, because the Holy Ghost gives knowledge and knowledge and power.
