THE CHRISTIAN WARRIORS

in #steemchurch8 years ago

Before we surrendered to Jesus, we were at war against God, if not deliberately and currently battling against Him, we were by the by, in favor of His adversaries. Paul kept in touch with the Romans, "When we were adversaries, we were accommodated to God by the passing of his Son" (Rom. 5:10) and to the Colossians he kept in touch with, "You, that were at some point estranged and foes in your brain by evil works, yet now has he accommodated… ."

(Col. 1:21) When God conveyed us from the Kingdom of Darkness and carried us into the Kingdom of Light, our faithfulness was changed and we are presently occupied with warfare for God. Christians are the human officers in God's armed force.

The enemy, the fiend, needs to discredit our viability in this warfare. Illust. There's an anecdote about a lord of Sparta in antiquated Greece who bragged to a meeting ruler about the compelling dividers of Sparta. But the visitor glanced around and didn't perceive any dividers, lastly he said to his host, "I'd jump at the chance to see those dividers.

Show them to me!" The Spartan ruler indicated with extraordinary fulfillment some taught and all around prepared troops, some portion of Sparta's strong armed force, and shouted, "There they are! Those are the dividers of Sparta!" Christians make up some portion of the divider that is remaining in protection from detestable and the Evil One and his armed force. Subsequently, Paul keeping in touch with Timothy, stated:

• "Stay the course of confidence" (1 Tim. 6.12) and

• "war a decent warfare" (I Tim.1:18).

• Paul's finish of-life declaration was: "I have battled a decent battle." (2 Tim. 4:7)

• Jude expresses, "Genuinely battle for the confidence." (Jude v.3) Therefore, while the Christian life is most superb, it is a warfare. This world is a battleground and we are the warriors in the fight against Satan, the enemy of our spirits and his evil spirits.

In Paul's letter to the Corinthian Christians he composes concerning Satan, "we are not insensible of his gadgets." (2 Cor. 2:11) If Paul were to compose a letter to the normal church today, I don't trust that he could state what he said to the Christians in Corinth. My perceptions, after more than 50 years in the Gospel service, are that there is awesome obliviousness, truly, stunning numbness among God's kin, about Satan's gadgets and the spiritual warfare that he is arranging against the Church of Jesus Christ.

Thus, a few adherents approach their day by day lives negligent of the spiritual blaze being pursued in the environment surrounding them. Paul cautioned the Christians in Ephesus about this contention saying, "put all in all protection of God… " That is, arm yourselves!

while the Christian life is most wonderful, it is a warfare. This world is a
battleground and we are the warriors in the battle against Satan, the enemy of our souls and his demonic spirits

The first step to being used by God is always personal cleansing. Without exception, when you find someone whom God is using in a great way, they’ve dealt with the personal sin in their lives before God.

It’s not about your past or your status in the world your your talent. God uses small vessels, plain vessels, and even broken vessels. But He will not use a dirty vessel. 2 Timothy 2:21 says, “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a utensil God can use for his purpose. Your life will be clean, and you’ll be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.” (NLT)

Thanks for this wonderful post. Let us put on the whole armon of God. As a christain we should be ready for battle from the enemy. The only way we can fight this battle is for us to pray daily.

We must prepare ourselves with wisdom, intelligence, cunning, humility, nobility, and our main weapon is faith in Christ Jesus and his grace to give us eternal life.

As Christian we are meant to face one Challenge or the other, but the way we fight the battle determines our Victory!

2 Corinthians 10:4 "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)"

No battle is too hard for the Lord, just call on him!

God has saved us through His son Jesus Christ in order to stand strong and face the battle of this world and stand in gap to protect other people.
We wrestle not against flesh but against principalities and powers. We need to always be ready to face the war.
