The Bible does NOT support Copernican cosmology.
One cannot be a believer in scripture as the true word of God, and also believe we live on a globe rotating at 1038 mph at its equator - the two are simply mutually exclusive.
i challenge anyone as a true follower of Christ to find one verse in scripture on which many translations agree, that tells us the earth is a rotating ball orbiting around the sun in a galaxy speeding through an expanding universe.
Genesis 1 is clear on how the earth and heavens are, how God ordered them and where and what they are in relation to each other - but every time you see the words you have never really read them, because you have been pre-programmed from birth to believe something else is true, preventing you from having eyes to truly see and understand exactly what is written by the breath of God.
Read it again now, and see in exactly what order and when the earth and the heavens were made, and then try to square that with the copernican-keplerian-newtonian-babylonian cosmology we have ALL been indoctrinated with since birth, and then reinforced with holly wood and sci-fi special visual fx many times over.
And if you can find one verse that disproves what i say i will heartily admit my error.

Since most of the bible has been confirmed wrong, why would you take anything it says as evidence of anything? You evoke logic but fail to use it.

not really interested in what 'christians' ie one or two corrupt priests said, it's what is said in the bible, quite clearly 'and the evening and the morning were the first, second etc. days.'
ken ham is right, we have much secular evidence for what he says.
