Steemchurch: The judas of our lives.

in #steemchurch7 years ago (edited)

My dear friends and brothers, I have meditated a lot on what we think and how much we care about the people that go through our lives, doing us some harm, betraying, stealing, focusing on them as our enemies, we focus on them, I have placed this message:

The Judas of our lives.

Do we know Judas Iscariot? The name of Judas is known in history as a synonym for traitor and has caused throughout the same both contempt and admiration, perhaps because of the fear of suffering his own fate.

Let's begin by approaching Judas by analyzing what the synoptic gospels say about him. In them it seems very suggestive that Judas only appears at the beginning and at the last supper. He is not mentioned during the public life and preaching of Jesus. And from the first mention is designated traitor or delivery of Jesus.

We know that he was chosen by Jesus himself, to be part of his circle of closest friends. And we can suppose that, although these three gospels do not mention it, he accompanied Jesus during his public life as did the rest of the apostles. Therefore, he listened to his teachings, he witnessed his miracles.

Nothing can stop God's plans.

It was decreed that Jesus would come to be betrayed and give his life for us (see Ephesians 1:11, Revelation 13: 8). The betrayal of Judas was announced long before it happened (John 13:18, Matthew 27: 9-10, compare with Acts 2:23). However, God did not force Judas to betray Jesus.
Judas surrendered to Satan and carried out his treachery and wickedness of his own free will, but God is so great that He transformed his betrayal for good (see Genesis 50:20). So, Judas is a great example that God's plans can not be frustrated.

It is mysterious how God is sovereign over all things at the same time that man is 100% responsible for his decisions. It is something that our finite mind may not be able to understand, but it is something that we need to accept, since this truth is a great consolation of God for us.
If God could have everything under control at the most crucial moment in history, the death of Jesus, without a doubt, can fulfill his promises to make all things work for good (Romans 8:28).

WE THANK GOD FOR THE JUDAS, THEY DID NOT KNOW THAT THEY PUT US ACCOMPLISHINGLY TO FULFILL THE PURPOSE, WITHOUT A JUDAS THE PERFECT PLAN OF THE REDEMPTION WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS ... WHEN A JUDAS IS RAISED THEN THERE IS TO BE PREPARED BECAUSE WHAT COMES IS GOOD IN A GREAT WAY. NOBODY CAN STOP GOD'S PLAN IN OUR LIFE.

We all need, in some way, Judas in our lives.

But there is something that characterizes Judas and is that he envies you in silence, he longs for what is yours, he does not support your success, nor your brightness, deep down he wants to be like you, take your place and, moreover, he spends his life plotting against you, wants to see you fail and, at the slightest opportunity, betrays you and sells you for a couple of coins.

I want you to know today, that if Judas has already entered into action and is happy because he thinks he got what he wanted and that your end is near, it is time to celebrate. Yes, to celebrate! You know why? God is using Judas to push you to the purpose He has for you.

Judas is taking you out of the comfort zone, making you pray and fast more, trusting more in God, motivating you to climb the mountain to seek divine strength and prepare for what is to come. His betrayal will make you temporarily the object of mockery, slander, blows, carrying a heavy cross.

The good news that I bring to you is that although the drink seems bitter to you and you want to pass the cup to you. Even if you feel that God has forsaken you, at the end of Calvary will come the glory and honor on you. And just as Jesus overcame death, you will be crowned with a decisive triumph over all those who rose up against you.

So every time that Judah appears, give thanks for him, rejoice and prepare to receive a great victory.
