Humility Prevents Revenge and Defense
So we can add the following to our portrait of humility: not only trust in God, entrust the way to God, wait with patience in God and avoid anger; it also avoids revenge and defense. Humility gives way to anger and leaves its vindication to God. Humility is the power to absorb adversity and criticism without becoming irritated.
