The word of God is the source of food, it is where we find out who God is and all his plans, in the word we also find our strengths that help us resist on difficult days, it is also our arsenal that helps us resist any test.

Hear, O Jehovah, my voice with which I cry to you;
Have mercy on me, and answer me.
My heart has said of you: Seek my face.
I will seek your face, O Lord;
Don't hide your face from me.
Do not turn away your servant in anger;
You have been my help.
Do not leave me nor forsake me, God of my salvation.
Even if my father and mother left me,
Yet the Lord will pick me up.
Teach me, O Lord, your way,
And guide me along the path of righteousness
Because of my enemies.
Do not hand me over to the will of my enemies;
For false witnesses have risen against me, and those who breathe cruelty.
I would have fainted if I did not believe that I would see the goodness of Jehovah
In the land of the living.
Wait for Jehovah;
Be strong, and let your heart be encouraged;
Yes, wait for Jehovah.

Psalms 27:7-14

In the word of God we have a lot to learn and perhaps it may even be difficult for us to remember everything we learn like this but the truth is that the more we retain and the more we put into practice, in difficult moments we will have more resources at hand given by God in his word. In this way, the word of God is a great tool, a powerful resource for our daily lives, especially to face the difficulties that arise.

As we incorporate the truths of God's word into our lives, our hearts and minds are transformed and we have a stronger foundation in the sufficiency of God's word.

We can take as an example King David who throughout the psalms has written a lot about the truths and the perception that he had of God, David had his heart trusting in God and that is the way in which He was prepared to overcome difficulties. Let us remember that in Psalm 23 he expresses that trust in God allowed him not to be afraid of the bad things that could happen. In Psalm 27 we find that if God is with him, he cannot be afraid of what happens. Because God has everything in his control, in Psalm 34 we see that even if you feel pressured or suffocated, the spirit of God brings rest and peace. All this comes from the trust that David had in God and not only by thinking about them but he faithfully believed through the conviction that he had in his mind and in his heart through knowing God.

We can take this living example of King David, what example? Simply when we are in the middle of a struggle or difficulty we can write remembering the great power and glorious acts of God, nothing more than what we have in the word of God, this is what allows us to remember the sufficiency of God, his power and confidence in victory.

10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not faint, because I am your God who strengthens you; I will always help you, I will always uphold you with the right hand of my justice.

Isaiah 41:10

The more often we remember God's victory in the lives of others as well as our own, the more our minds and hearts are affirmed that God has the power, control and ability to sustain us in everything moment, our trust in God becomes much more solid, do you dare to practice it?

La palabra de Dios es la fuente de alimento, es donde encontramos plasmado quién es Dios y todos sus planes, en la palabra también encontramos nuestras fortalezas que nos ayuda a resistir en los días difíciles, es también nuestro arsenal que nos ayuda a resistir cualquier prueba.

Oye, oh Jehová, mi voz con que a ti clamo;
Ten misericordia de mí, y respóndeme.
Mi corazón ha dicho de ti: Buscad mi rostro.
Tu rostro buscaré, oh Jehová;
No escondas tu rostro de mí.
No apartes con ira a tu siervo;
Mi ayuda has sido.
No me dejes ni me desampares, Dios de mi salvación.
Aunque mi padre y mi madre me dejaran,
Con todo, Jehová me recogerá.
Enséñame, oh Jehová, tu camino,
Y guíame por senda de rectitud
A causa de mis enemigos.
No me entregues a la voluntad de mis enemigos;
Porque se han levantado contra mí testigos falsos, y los que respiran crueldad.
Hubiera yo desmayado, si no creyese que veré la bondad de Jehová
En la tierra de los vivientes.
Aguarda a Jehová;
Esfuérzate, y aliéntese tu corazón;
Sí, espera a Jehová.

Salmos 27:7-14

En la palabra de Dios tenemos muchísimo para aprender y quizás hasta nos resulte difícil recordar todo lo que aprendemos así pero la verdad es que cuanto más retenemos y más ponemos en práctica, en los momentos difícil tendremos más a mano los recursos dados por Dios en su palabra. De esta manera la palabra de Dios resulta una gran herramienta un recurso poderoso para nuestro día a día sobretodo para enfrentar las dificultades que se presente.

A medida que incorporamos las verdades de la palabra de Dios en nuestras vidas, nuestro corazón y nuestra mente se transforman y tenemos un fundamento más sólido en la suficiencia de la palabra de Dios.

Podemos tomar como ejemplo del rey David quien a lo largo de los salmos ha escrito mucho acerca de las verdades y la percepción que él tenía de Dios, David tenía el corazón confiado en Dios y de esa es la manera en que estaba preparado para sortear las dificultades recordemos que en el salmo 23 expresa que la confianza en Dios le permitía no tener temor a lo malo que pudiera suceder, en el salmo 27 encontramos de qué si Dios está con él no puede tener miedo a lo que suceda porque Dios todo lo tiene en su control, en el salmo 34 vemos que aunque se sienta presionado o sofocado, el espíritu de Dios trae reposo y paz. Todo esto proviene de la confianza que David tenía en Dios y no solamente por pensar en ellos sino que creía fielmente a través de la convicción que tenía en su mente y en su corazón por medio de conocer a Dios.

Podemos tomar este ejemplo vivo del rey David ¿qué ejemplo? Simplemente cuando estemos en medio de una lucha una dificultad podemos escribir recordando el gran poder y los hechos gloriosos de Dios, nada más de lo que tenemos en la palabra de Dios, esto mismo es lo que nos permite recordar la suficiencia de Dios, su poder y la confianza en la victoria.

10 No temas, porque yo estoy contigo; no desmayes, porque yo soy tu Dios que te esfuerzo; siempre te ayudaré, siempre te sustentaré con la diestra de mi justicia.

Isaías 41:10

Cuánto más de seguido recordamos la victoria de Dios tanto en la vida de otros como las nuestras, nuestra mente y nuestro corazón se afirma más y más en que Dios tiene el poder, el control y la capacidad de sostenernos en todo momento, nuestra confianza en Dios se vuelve mucho más sólida, ¿te animas a practicarlo?.
