Patience is simply keeping and accepting what God decides to give us or not give us, receiving everything he has for us at the time he decides.

But as for you, beloved, we are persuaded of better things, and that they belong to salvation, although we speak thus. 10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and the work of love that you have shown towards his name, having served the saints and still serving them. 11 But we desire that each of you show the same diligence to the end, for full assurance of hope, 12 so that you may not become slothful, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, not being able to swear by anyone greater, he swore by himself, 14 saying, "I will surely bless you abundantly and multiply you greatly." 15 And having waited patiently, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews 6:9-15

Let's imagine a situation in which we are in a line to make a payment, we are there for more than 10 minutes, this normally generates frustration since we wait for the results as quickly as possible.

Since we are born we are being very impatient to some degree, this becomes different from the moment we are born, let's remember the birth of a baby who is already hungry and reacts naturally by complaining the first moment he comes The world, until its need is satisfied, will not stop complaining. Our human nature allows impatience to be that daily battle which we must overcome.

The word of God defines patience as perseverance or long patience "long-suffering", this means that we are willing to wait without getting frustrated while we suffer, we suffer even when we experience a great desire for something. Also, being patient means that we are accepting what God decides to give us or not give us, and we gladly delight when God's time comes, meanwhile we wait, seek His direction, and pray.

In impatience there is a danger of deviating from God's plan, of missing the mark and thus deviating from God's perfect plan and his great blessing, but when we trust in his will and in God's timing we simply wait for the necessary time with peace in the heart awaiting the hope that God is working absolutely for our good.

Right now we can ask ourselves the following question: are we leaving our affairs in the hand of God? We must simply trust in God and be patient, are you doing it?

Trust quietly in the Lord and wait on Him patiently;
Do not be provoked because of him who prospers in his way,
By the man who carries out his intrigues.

La paciencia es simplemente a guardar y aceptar lo que Dios decide darnos o no darnos, recibir todo lo que él tiene para nosotros en el momento que él decida.

Pero en cuanto a vosotros, oh amados, estamos persuadidos de cosas mejores, y que pertenecen a la salvación, aunque hablamos así. 10 Porque Dios no es injusto para olvidar vuestra obra y el trabajo de amor que habéis mostrado hacia su nombre, habiendo servido a los santos y sirviéndoles aún. 11 Pero deseamos que cada uno de vosotros muestre la misma solicitud hasta el fin, para plena certeza de la esperanza, 12 a fin de que no os hagáis perezosos, sino imitadores de aquellos que por la fe y la paciencia heredan las promesas.
13 Porque cuando Dios hizo la promesa a Abraham, no pudiendo jurar por otro mayor, juró por sí mismo, 14 diciendo: De cierto te bendeciré con abundancia y te multiplicaré grandemente. 15 Y habiendo esperado con paciencia, alcanzó la promesa.

Imaginemos una situación en la que estamos en una fila para realizar un pago, estamos por más de 10 minutos, esto normalmente genera frustración ya que nosotros esperamos los resultados lo más rápido posible.

Desde que nacemos estamos siendo muy impacientes en algún grado, esto se hace diferente desde el momento en que nacemos, recordemos el nacimiento de un bebé que al hacer ya tiene hambre y reacciona naturalmente quejándose en el primer momento en que viene el mundo, hasta que no se satisfaga su necesidad no para de quejarse. Nuestra naturaleza humana permite que la impaciencia sea esa batalla diaria la cual debemos vencer.

La palabra de Dios define la paciencia como perseverancia o bien larga paciencia " longanimidad ", esto significa que estamos dispuesto esperar sin necesidad de frustrarnos mientras padecemos, sufrimos aún cuando experimentamos un gran deseo de algo. También, ser paciente significa que estamos aceptando lo que Dios decide darnos o no darnos, y deleitarnos con agrado cuando llega el tiempo de Dios, mientras tanto aguardamos buscamos su dirección y oramos.

En la impaciencia existe el peligro desviarnos del plan de Dios, de errar el blanco y así apartarnos del plan perfecto de Dios y de su gran bendición, pero cuando confiamos en su voluntad y en el tiempo de Dios simplemente aguardamos el tiempo necesario con paz en el corazón aguardando la esperanza que Dios está obrando absolutamente para nuestro bien.

Ahora mismo podemos hacernos la siguiente pregunta ¿nuestros asuntos los estamos dejando en la mano de Dios? Simplemente debemos confiar en Dios y a guardar con paciencia, ¿lo estás haciendo?.

Confía callado en el Señor y espera en Él con paciencia;
No te irrites a causa del que prospera en su camino,
Por el hombre que lleva a cabo sus intrigas.

Salmos 37:7
