I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and in his kingdom, 2 that you preach the word; that you urge in season and out of season; rebuke, rebuke, exhort with all patience and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will gather for themselves teachers according to their own lusts, 4 and they will turn away their ears from the truth and turn to fables.
2 Timothy 4:1-4
The apostle Paul wrote many letters to many churches, also a personal letter to Timothy his disciple, in the second letter that Paul wrote to Timothy, he insisted that he preach the word of God since through it I could rebuke and correct with patience.
This is generally the most difficult task for a pastor, since it is not normal to react well to correction. When we react the way we react to criticism, it is evidence of our spiritual maturity and our faith. Let us remember that the Bible teaches us that those who do not accept discipline also despise themselves. The word of God also tells us that the one who hears correction is the one who has understanding.
The ear that listens to the warnings of life,
He will dwell among the wise.
Proverbs 15:31
When we receive criticism we are in a crucial moment where we have the option to respond or make decisions for better or worse, that is: we accept the correction and grow or we let ourselves be carried away by rejection and fall down a kind of slope slippery That is what the apostle Paul describes in the previous text as a recommendation of behavior to Timothy, especially those who get tired of receiving rebuke. Read with me what happens with this type of people and we will understand much better the behavior of some brothers that we already know and of whom we do not want to imitate.
Because the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but, driven by their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers who will tell them the fantasies they want to hear. 4 They will stop listening to the truth and will turn to myths.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
We as children of God cannot allow ourselves to ignore this truth, even when we are harshly criticized, when people are tactless when addressing us, no matter who they are. We must remain attentive to the voice of God no matter what!

Debemos aceptar cuando Dios nos corrige, esto nos permitirá crecer y nuestra vida mejorará.
Te encarezco delante de Dios y del Señor Jesucristo, que juzgará a los vivos y a los muertos en su manifestación y en su reino, 2 que prediques la palabra; que instes a tiempo y fuera de tiempo; redarguye, reprende, exhorta con toda paciencia y doctrina. 3 Porque vendrá tiempo cuando no sufrirán la sana doctrina, sino que teniendo comezón de oír, se amontonarán maestros conforme a sus propias concupiscencias, 4 y apartarán de la verdad el oído y se volverán a las fábulas.

El apóstol Pablo escribió muchas cartas a muchas iglesias, también una carta personal a Timoteo su discípulo, en la segunda carta que Pablo le escribió a Timoteo, le insistió para que predique la palabra de Dios ya que por medio de ésta podría reprender y corregir con paciencia.
Generalmente esta es la tarea más difícil de un pastor, ya que no es normal reaccionar bien a la corrección. Cuando nosotros reaccionamos hola manera que reaccionamos ante la crítica, es una evidencia acerca de nuestra madurez espiritual y nuestra fe. Recordemos que la Biblia nos enseña que quienes no aceptan la disciplina se menosprecia asimismo, también nos indica la palabra de Dios que el que escucha la corrección es el que tiene entendimiento.
El oído que escucha las amonestaciones de la vida,
Entre los sabios morará.
Proverbios 15:31
Cuando recibimos críticas estamos en un momento crucial donde tenemos la opción de responder o tomar decisiones para bien o para mal es decir: aceptamos la corrección y crecemos o bien nos dejamos llevar por el rechazo y caemos por una especie de pendiente resbaladiza. Eso es lo que describe el apóstol Pablo en el texto anterior como recomendación del comportamiento a Timoteo sobre todo quienes se cansan de recibir reprensión, lee conmigo lo que sucede con este tipo de personas y entenderemos mucho mejor el comportamiento de algunos hermanos que ya conocemos y de quienes no queremos imitar.
Porque llegará el tiempo en que no van a tolerar la sana doctrina, sino que, llevados de sus propios deseos, se rodearán de maestros que les digan las fantasías que quieren oír. 4 Dejarán de escuchar la verdad y se volverán a los mitos.
