Praying as God desires!

There are times when God delays in answering our prayers and it is part of the perfect answer.
18 Jesus also told them a parable about the need to pray always and not to lose heart. 2 He said, "In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor regarded man. 3 There was also a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, 'Give me justice against my adversary.' 4 But he refused for a while. But afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I neither fear God nor regard man,' 5 yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her justice, or else she will wear me out by her continual coming." 6 Then the Lord said, 'Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 Will not God then give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay in answering them? 8 I tell you, he will give them justice quickly.' But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?
Luke 18:1-8
We all like things to be simple, easy and above all immediate, we want everything to be to obtain what we want with a few simple steps. But while this is applicable to some things in life, it is not applicable to prayer, this formula is NOT applicable to prayer.
Let us start from the fact that prayer is the way we communicate daily with God and communication does not consist of only asking and receiving, communication is asking, giving, waiting, listening, speaking and acting, this is how God teaches us.
Let us remember that in his word he has promised to answer us, perhaps some answers are NOT immediate, sometimes the answer is delayed and this can be for many reasons.
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
James 4:3
