The Lord Jesus Christ opens a gift for us in advance, he has voluntarily given his life to redeem us so that justice can be fulfilled, have you accepted that gift from the Lord?
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God made a propitiation through faith in his blood, to manifest his righteousness , because of having overlooked, in his patience, past sins, with the aim of manifesting his righteousness at this time, so that he may be the just one, and the one who justifies him who has faith in Jesus.
Where then is the boasting? It is excluded. By what law? Because of the works? No, but by the law of faith.
Romans 3:23-27
Although the cross is a symbol of freedom and salvation, it also presents a certain dilemma: how did God allow his son to suffer this death on the cross? From our vision as a human, there is absolutely nothing good about this, but if we contemplate this from a much broader vision, knowing the purpose of God, we realize the magnitude of God's demonstration of love for humanity.
First of all we must understand that God is merciful but he is also just, he cannot do something against his nature or against his word, he absolutely always does the right thing. On the other hand we have humanity that is by nature sinful and the justice of God demands a price for sin, that is, that price must be paid, understanding that God is rich in mercy, so: how is it that God could exercise mercy and justice? at the same time in this situation?
18 knowing that you were rescued from your vain way of life, which you received from your fathers, not with corruptible things, such as gold or silver, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot and without blemish, 20 already destined before the foundation of the world, but manifested in the last times for love of you,
