It is interesting that even when “Things” happen around us, we have the option to rejoice in the presence of God.
I will bless Jehovah who advises me;
Even at night he teaches me my conscience.
8 I have always set the Lord before me;
Because he is at my right hand, I will not be moved.

My flesh will also rest safely;

I am sure what you are thinking in the situations you will be experiencing and this answer may depend on everything that is happening in the environment of your life at this moment, if everything is going well, you are in good health, you have good relationships and a job that Don't complain, I'm more than sure you'll answer: yes, I'm happy. And if at this moment you are having any problem in any of the aspects of your life where you are experiencing a complicated situation or from one moment to the next when everything is good suddenly changes for the worse, our emotion or this happiness becomes something fleeting. which disappears immediately. But the joy that comes from the depths of the heart never disappears.
It is generally believed that joy and happiness are the same thing but in reality they are different, when we talk about happiness we are talking about something temporary, an emotion that is based on the circumstances we are experiencing at a certain moment However, joy can be a constant state, we can have joy no matter what does not happen outside of us. Joy is based on what we believe, joy is the fruit of the presence of God in our lives, it is a condition which cannot be affected by the external events that happen in our lives.
David firmly declared that his heart rejoiced in God because he had discovered that walking like this he lived with constant joy, even when we face different adversities, we can have the same attitude doing the same thing, for that we must fix our eyes in God through his word, feed our faith through it and remain firm in God's promises.
9 As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love; just as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11 I have spoken these things to you, so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be fulfilled.

It does not allow us to experience peace when we have a heart that rejoices in the presence of God, we experience this as we spend quality time in the presence of God, this joy is unbreakable nothing can overshadow it when it is genuine, can we? Do you dare to experience it?

Es interesante que aún cuando sucedan "Cosas" en nuestro entorno, tenemos la opción de regocijarnos en la presencia de Dios.
Bendeciré a Jehová que me aconseja;
Aun en las noches me enseña mi conciencia.
8 A Jehová he puesto siempre delante de mí;
Porque está a mi diestra, no seré conmovido.
9 Se alegró por tanto mi corazón, y se gozó mi alma;
Mi carne también reposará confiadamente;
Salmos 16:7-9
Una pregunta clave es: ¿Sos felíz? Estoy seguro de qué estarás pensando en las situaciones que estarás viviendo y esta respuesta puede depender de todo lo que acontece en el entorno de tu vida en este momento, si todo va bien, goza de buena salud, tienes buenas relaciones y un trabajo del cual no te quejas estoy más que seguro que responderás: si, estoy contento. Y si en este momento estás teniendo algún inconveniente en alguno de los aspectos de tu vida donde estás viviendo una situación complicada o de un momento a otro en que todo está bien cambien repentinamente para el mal, nuestra emoción o esta felicidad se torna como algo fugaz que desaparece inmediatamente. Pero el gozo que proviene de lo más profundo del corazón jamás desaparece.
Generalmente se cree que el gozo y la felicidad son la misma cosa pero en realidad es que son diferentes, cuando hablamos de felicidad estamos hablando de algo temporal, una emoción que está basada en las circunstancias que estamos viviendo en determinado momento, en cambio el gozo puede ser un estado constante, podemos tener gozo sin importar lo que no suceda en nuestro exterior. El gozo está fundamentado en aquello que creemos, el gozo es el fruto de la presencia de Dios en nuestras vidas, es una condición la cual no puede ser afectada por los acontecimientos externos que suceden en nuestras vidas.
David declaro firmemente que su corazón se alegraba en Dios porque había descubierto que andando así vivía con gozo constante, aún cuando se enfrentamos a diferentes adversidades, nosotros podemos tener la misma actitud haciendo lo mismo, para eso debemos fijar los ojos en Dios a través de su palabra, alimentar nuestra fe a través de ella y permanecer firme en las promesas de Dios.
9 Como el Padre me ha amado, así también yo os he amado; permaneced en mi amor. 10 Si guardareis mis mandamientos, permaneceréis en mi amor; así como yo he guardado los mandamientos de mi Padre, y permanezco en su amor. 11 Estas cosas os he hablado, para que mi gozo esté en vosotros, y vuestro gozo sea cumplido.
