RUN THE RACE, IT WILL END WELL

The race which was set before Jesus was not an easy one but He had to run till He finished.

He was born in a glorious way with wise men visitng him and presenting to him gifts, praising God for such a wonderful saviour for mankind, they worshipped the king of kings and the Lord of Lords.

Yet Jesus had to also go through a difficult passage to sit at the right hand side of God.
The experience at the Garden of Gethsemane alone should tell you how difficult it was for Jesus Christ and the great burden which he had in his soul.

Then said he unto them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death: tarry you here, and watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will. And he came unto the disciples, and found them asleep, and said unto Peter, What, could you not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, your will be done. Mattew 26:39-42

We should know that he felt the way you have felt a times, like giving up, ending it or quiting but he endured all the pain and sorrow and with prayer, patience and with the help of the Holy Spirit he finished his race.

Perhaps you been asking God, father! isn't there a way I can start my own business? May be God wants you to work for others first.

Perhaps you been asking God, father, is there not a way I can start my own ministry, May be God wants you to serve others first before you be served in your own ministry.

God always want to train us first, work on us and make a perfect way for us before He will glorify us. In those times we should be willing to pass the test, go through that route that he wants us to go, run that race.

The journey will present to you many challenges and difficulties as you move towards your final destination and so you must not give up. It is easier when you start but tougher as you get to the finishing line but God is on yours side ready to be of help to you through the help of His spirit.

Brethrens, the race will not be easy but it will end well when you look unto Jesus like how Apostle Paul admonished us:

Therefore seeing we also are surrounded with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily ensnare us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such hostility of sinners against himself, lest you be wearied and faint in your minds. Hebrews 12:1-3
