GOD REALLY CARES

In the minds of some people it seems God is insensitive to the plight of humanity and doesn't care about what we go through. Some people will say: if God is a loving and a caring God why would He allow humans to go through hardships in this life. God is not as some people think He is.

We serve a God who empathize with us and really cares about us. He is not too busy to overlook even the smallest issues we face in our lives. God knows us more than we even know ourselves. He knows every little detail about us, even every little hair on our head Luke 12:6-7 and what matters to us also matters to Him.

What you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take you thought for clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Therefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, How shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.Mathew 6:24-32

Jesus from this sermon explained how God truly loves us and care about us. We were made in His image and we are the creations that has really cost God. He would not just sit and watch His valued creation go waste without doing nothing.

God Knows We Have Needs

From the words of Jesus, God knows that we have needs. What we need to make us happy and complete is already in God's plan. The fact the He hasn't provided does not mean He has forgotten and doesn't care. God has so much in abundance for you and I that He will supply if we ask for it. Apostle Paul said something encouraging, He says "my God shall supply your needs according to riches. Our father is so rich that we cannot lack. I have not yet seen a rich man whose son still lacks while his father is stilll alive. No child of God can still live in poverty when God is so rich and has everything in abundance.

Cast All Your Cares On Him

God knows what we go through, He knows our worry, pain, wants and needs. Someone will say then why do we still get troubled and worried when He cares about us and knows what we go through ?

casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]

The scripture above tells us to cast all our anxieties, worries and concerns on Him. The word "cast" means to throw upon or to leave upon. This means we should leave it all to him to handle. God doesn't want us to even spend a moment to worry about anything.

The problem of many believers is not leaving everything to God and trying so hard to handle every little thing. Such folks eventually concludes that God doesn't care about them. God doesn't want us to handle things that is meant for Him, He doesn't want to stress ourselves because of the troubles of this life. He doesn't want us to worry about our body or our lives. Doing that makes Him look like an irresponsible father.

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, How shall we be clothed?
