God Is Aware

Challenges and problems in life will never cease. Each day you will encounter different problems that will require different solutions. One day Jesus was traveling with His disciples in a boat. Jesus found a place in the boat and slept. According the bible he was sleeping on a pillow and that should tell you how comfortable he was in the boat:

And the same day, when the evening was come, he said unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him just as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the rear of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awoke him, and said unto him, Teacher, care you not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are you so fearful? how is it that you have no faith? Mark 4:35-40

Jesus could always perceive and know everything that was about to happen, he had advance knowledge of the impending danger yet he slept. He intentionally remained silent and wanted to know if the disciples will try and apply a little faith to calm down the sea. All this while they have applied all their experiences because some of them were fishermen and know more about the sea but their experiences and skills failed.

You cannot approach life with only your experiences, wisdom and knowledge. You will encounter a particular issue that goes beyond your knowledge or experiences. There are problems money cannot even solve. You need more than just experience or knowledge.

Perhaps you are facing turbulence in your marriage, business and finances and you are trying to do all you could. Remember, God is very much aware of what you are going through. A times God remains silent only to test our faith in Him. Do you have faith? This is the time for you to speak just as Jesus did to calm down the sea. You can bring down any situation under your control if you have a little faith in the power of God. God can easily turn that situation around if you have a little faith.

Jesus complained about their lack of faith. He has moved with them for sometime and they have witnessed many miracles which was beyond human imaginations. He thought them about faith and wanted them to apply it over any situation. This is why he remained silent to see what they will do.

God expect us to always walk by faith and not by sight. The moment you start seeing the way God sees is the moment you experience the miraculous. How does God sees? God sees possibilities for He works with faith. That's how we should live.

Just like any master who gives his apprentice the chance to showcase what he has acquired or learnt, God will always give us the chance to demonstrate what we have learnt from His word.

If not for the power that manifest anytime we apply the word of God the bible will be nothing but a book. God's word truly carries power and He wants to make that power available to us to deal with any situation. We cannot experience that power if we don't exercise our faith.

Don't sit down thinking that God will do it, make it happen, speak over that situation and there will be a change. God is aware but you should move Him to work on your behalf by your faith.
