This is because every problem you face requires its own solution. In times of life when human help has failed and money and other material resources are of no use there is one source of help which you can always rely to have a guaranteed answer.

That help is the help of God. God becomes your help when acknowledge Him and trust Him.
Many people think help comes from our fellow men, friends, neighbours, uncles etc. but is not true because they are used by God as helpers.

The source of all help is God and not man. Man is used as entities to deliver the help of God.
This is why we must seek the help of God first before we seek that of man. It is wrong to seek help from man rather than.

David had been searching help and has been looking everywhere he could but didn't get the right help he needed and that is how life is.

Sometimes in life you can be misunderstood by people because they don't know what you are going through and therefore may give wrong or irrelevant answers to your problems or situation.

David when he found himself in any situation will first acknowledge God and focus only on Him for help. .

He will first focus on God and not man. There was a time when he needed help and there was one place he could turn to. He lifted up his eyes into the hills and then saw his help. Hear how he prayed:

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Psalm 121:1-8

This is incredibly touching and powerful. When God is your help, believe you will surely lack nothing.

We should always focus on God and not on man for help. Many people pray but pray amiss because even in their prayers they still have in mind the one whom they think can help them.

God wants us to focus only on Him and not man for man can disappoint and fail. In our prayers we should have it in mind that only God can help us and if our fellow men can help us it is because God touched their heart to be of help to us.
