Be A Blessing To Others
If you are well off in life to the extent that you are able to take good care of your family and those around you it a blessing from the Lord. But that's not enough because you also need to be a blessing to others as well..to take care or provide for others as well.
You will have to then move from being blessed to becoming a blessing. You are blessed when you have enough just for you and your family but you are blessing if others can also be blessed through you. That is when your blessings can affect others as well.
God first promised Abram when He called him out of his family that He will bless him and he shall be a blessing.
And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3
At the beginning stage of his life he was just "Abram" meaning exalted father but later God enlarged his territories and blessed him as promised and hthen came Abraham meaning a father of multitude.
God transformed his life from an exalted father to a father of multitude. He blessed him so much that he became like a fountain of blessing. Whoever hooks up with him definitely get blessed.
And if you are Christ's, then are you Abraham's descendants, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29
Beloved we are partakers of Abrahamic blessings and if we heirs then the same applies to us. We are to move from being blessed to becoming a blessing; a level where it is not only about us but others as well.
People should be blessed because of us for we have been made that way according to the divine plan of God. Our life should manifest blessings into the life of others.
God had others in mind when He was blessing Abraham, that through him many people will also be blessed. In the same way has God blessed us to also multiply it. Know that if you have so much it is not for yourself that you should keep or hoard but those whom God has designed that they get blessed through you.
Givers never lack, whatever we give unto tge Lord he said will double it for us if we do it with a generous heart.
