STEEM CHURCH - NO ESCAPE FROM GOD'S JUDGEMENT

Hi friends

The bible teaches that God is indeed a God of judgement wrath and anger. God is going to judge man. Jesus did not stop preaching about judgement in his days. "It shall be more tolerable for tyre and Sidon at the day of judgement than for you" Matthew 11:22.
What about the Apostles? silent about the judgement of God because of grace because he has appointed a day in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he had obtained where he has given assurance unto all men, him that he has risen from the dead Acts 17:31.

JUDGEMENT FOR SIN The judgement took place on the cross the bible states "for he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2corinthians 5:21.

THE JUDGEMENT OF THE BELIEVER This is not judgement for condemnation because we have settled that on the cross. This can be seen as judgements to evaluate the believers works after salvation. This is the time when the lord shall reward his followers it is called the judgement seat of Christ. "For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body according to that he has done whether it be good or bad" 2corinthians 5:10.

THE JUDGEMENT OF THE UNSAVED DEAD This is the white throne judgement. It will take place after the millennial reign. "And I saw a great white throne and him that sat on it from whose face the earth and heaven flew away and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead small and great stand before God and the books were opened and another book was opened, which is the book of life and the dead were judge out of those things which were written in the books according to their works" Revelation 20:11-15.

I can imagine Jesus saying to those who are just churchgoers those who call him lord lord and never do his will. Preachers who use his name but never really allowed him to be lord of their lives, hypocrites and others I tried to be your advocate, your savior but all to no avail but now I am your judge.May God have mercy.
