GOD HATES US COMPLAINING
True christians don't need to complain. reason being that when you do complain, It signifies your hope is lost and you explain your pain just for no gain. one does not start out as a complainer, but only decides to become that way. Complaining can be very unhealthy to one in the following ways;
• IT LEADS TO ANGER AND DEPRESSION
• YOU QUESTION GOD'S COMPETENCE, CHARACTER AND CARE
• YOUR WORDS AFFECT THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU
God loves you and does not want you to hurt yourself. He also hates to hear us whining. Complaining simply changes nothing but only satisfies our selfish nature.
'Do all things without complaining' (Philippians 2:14)
A lot of things could lead to our complaints, things like lack of money to pay bills, illness, family situation, marital problems. etc. But the truth is, none of this is enough reason that we should complain. A wise man once said 'I complained that i had no shoes, until i met a man who had no feet' .
We are all being blessed by God in numerous and different ways. When we complain, we forego the grace that will let is through the situation. And also when we complain and try to cling to the image of a perfect life, we forfeit the grace that's available to us to bring our victory. We need to change our thinking. Most people complain till they fail to acknowledge God for his blessings towards them, which is not good.
'...when the people complained, it displeased the Lord...' (Numbers 11:1)
