OVERCOMING MOCKERS
WORD OF THE DAY
Beloved, believe it or not, mockers are everywhere, among family members, at home, in the office, in the market, even in the church.
There are mockers in every generation. We have them everywhere, including our homes, neighbourhoods, offices, churches etc. Mockers are people who:-
Don't have faith in you and God's programme for your life.
Think you will remain the way you are.
Don't expect you to amount to anything in life.
Love to criticize and ridicule you.
Take delight in running you down.
Want to tie your destiny and your future to your past.
Don't see any reason why people should honour and celebrate you.
Laugh with you in your presence but despise you behind.
Focus more on your weaknesses and shortcomings than your strength.
Love to expose and ridicule you.
Look down on you because of your needs, challenges, trials etc.
BELOVED, DISREGARD MOCKERS
If you hope to remain happy and relevant, learn to disregard mockers. Don't give them attention. Don't waste your time trying to please mockers. You cannot. Often times, they are professional critics who don't see anything good with others. Thank God, they are not your Maker.
MOCKERS ARE ALWAYS AROUND
Beloved, believe it or not, mockers are everywhere, among family members, at home, in the office, in the market, even in the church. The man called Job said in chapter 17:2 of his book:-
Are there not mockers with me? And dot not my eyes continue in their provocation?
THEY ARE HYPOCRITES
Mockers are liars, deceivers, pretenders and are often agents of confusion. They are also hypocrites that love to devalue others. Don't allow them in this way:
With hypocritical mockers in feats, they gnashes upon me with their teeth. Psalm 35:16.
In Jesus name, they will not get you. Whatever be their agenda, they will not succeed in your family in Jesus name.
Be strong and don't give up. Keep hope alive because your change will come. Don't write off yourself. You are not a failure.
