The breath of breath of life!
All of us have the need to feel fulfilled, and we spend a good part of our life working to make all this happen as we planned.
But this is not always the case and when our expectations are not met, we become frustrated. Some quickly overcome frustration and go through the process; while others take more time. The open wound delays healing and that pain becomes routine and guides all our thoughts and actions.
From a few times I have been deeply ministered about dependence and submission.
I was in a phase of discernment of a new stage of my life and God made me look back and remember that He gave us the breath of life. That is, all we are, we have, we think, we do is because it allows it.
Now, since he is sovereign over everything and everyone, it is not easier to look for him, to approach to discern his will than to try to discover alone and continue to frown.
In the biblical text of Ezekiel 37: 5-6 it says: "Tell him that I, the Lord God, am telling you this: I will put breath inside you and I will make you live again. I will give you tendons and muscles and cover you with I put the breath inside you and I will make you live again, then you will know that I am the Lord.
He is the Lord, but we are not. Many times we feel this way: weakened, sad, tired, lifeless, hopeless. But in that text, Ezekiel prophesies about the valley of dry bones and I want to encourage him to do the same.
When you feel this way, remember that every bone, every muscle of your body is only alive because He gave the breath of life to you. Be grateful! Gratitude nullifies gossip and that makes all the difference in your days.
When you think about reclaiming the circumstances, remember: You have the breath of life that comes from Him. Thank you! Allow yourself to mature with those difficult situations and be grateful for the opportunity to go through that phase and grow with that experience.
