THE CALL TO FELLOWSHIP

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of steem, peace be with you all

God is faithful, by whom you were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1Corinthians 1:9

The faithfulness of our God is said to be a calling of his people into fellowship with his dear son. Fellowship as used in our opening scripture is translated from the Greek word koinonia which means association, intimacy,community, partnerhip or intercourse. This implies that God has called as into partnership with his son.

Koinonia also connotes the share which one has in anything. It means God has called us to have a share in his son . When we confessed Jesus Christ as our Lord it was a separation from the world into union with God's son, the right of sonship was bestowed upon us. We became one with God's son and received a share in his everlasting life. We are the very associates of the Son of God.

It is not enough to know that you are a son of God. You must also admit that you share and participate in the life of the son of God. The bible tells us in 1John4:17 that "...... as he is, so are we in this world". We are not different from him, we are who he is because we share in his life. The life that flows through the son flows through us.

" That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel". Ephesians 3:6
You were ordained before the world began to be fellowheir, of the same body and partaker of his divine life in Christ Jesus.
Beloved, always have this consciousness that you have been consecrated and called into fellowship of God's dear Son. Hallelujah
