Probation in the future
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen , peace be with you all
Hearing the Gospel as proclaimed by the Lord's duly commissioned servants imposes a measure of responsibility upon those who her. Jesus did not want his apostles to feel that they were under obligation to convince and convert all to whom they witnessed, or to think that those who failed to respond would be given no further opportunity of salvation
They were bear witness to the kingdom message but they were not to coerce their hearers into accepting .when their message was not received they were to shake the dust off their and go elsewhere.
He (Jesus ) added to this that so far as those who rejected the message were concerned, it would be less "tolerable"for them in the day of Judgment than it would be far sodom and Gomorrah. (Matt. 10)
An important point to be noticed in this statement is that it will be tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah. And for those who rejected the message presented by the Apostles, but differing in degree by the amount of available to each.
