IT PAYS TO BE OBEDIENT

And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

• 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

  The widow woman was asked by God to feed Elijah even though she had very little ( 1 Kings 17:8-12). By her act of obedience, she experienced the miracle of abundant provision for herself and her whole household. In addition, she experienced the miracle of having her dead child being brought back to life ( 1 Kings 17:17-23). Abraham also, simply obeyed God when He asked him to leave his father's house and go to the land that he will be shown and his obedience launched him into his many blessings of riches and descendants. See how one act of simple obedience brought many blessings to these ones?
  Beloved, sometimes the door to our blessings is simple obedience to God even when it seems difficult. It may be a fast He may ask us to embark on or a seed He may ask us to sow that may usher us into our next realm of glory. Let's simply obey whatever God tells us to do either through His word, a dream or a true servant of His .

LIFE APPLICATION
If you want to prosper in life and reach your destiny, simply obey whatever God tells you to do.

PRAYER
Father make my heart like that of a little child to obey you wholly without questioning you or giving any excuses.
