GOD HAS MORE IN STORE

And Samuel said unto Jesse, "Are here all thy children? And he said, "There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep." And Samuel said unto Jesse, "send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither." 1 Samuel 16:11

There are times life presents us with options that are not necessarily consistent with what the word of God says or in line with whatever the Lord is telling us at the moment; for instance in choosing a job or a spouse. Yet we are pressured to choose or accept those options because we don't really see any other way. But the fact that we don't see any other option does not mean there are no other options. God may yet have something great in store for you.
This was the situation the prophet Samuel found himself in when he visited the home of Jesse in search for the next king of Israel. He was presented with a row of contestants who were not consistent with what God was telling him. Yet he did not rush to choose the supposedly best option but waited for what God still had in store. This should be our attitude as well. We should not be pressured by the world to make rush choices rather wait a little while. And whilst waiting for God make sure you are waiting on God. You will soon come into what are searching for and this time you'll know it.

LIFE APPLICATION
Don't let pressure and fear of the future push you into taking a hasty decision in life rather wait on the Lord and do as he says.
