The apostle Paul wrote in his epistle to the Romans that patience is one of the results of having been justified by faith. In chapter 5 of that letter, verses 3 and 4 he wrote: 3 And not only this, but we also rejoice in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces patience; 4y patience, proven character; and the proven character, hope; As you can see, dear listener, there is a divine purpose behind all the experiences we live.

Today there are many shallow, shallow Christians. And many who, as Christians, are insecure. There are believers who try to be intellectual and question, question the Word of God. And then, there are Christians who maintain dubious attitudes in the face of new trends in the area of ​​morality. The problem with such Christians is that they have never grown spiritually, they are like little children. God gives us trials and sufferings, dear listener, to produce patience in our lives and to become mature children of God. That is a great spiritual need we have today.

God has to send us problems so we can learn patience, which will also produce hope and love in the lives of men and women. During many years of Christian ministry we have seen the Holy Spirit perform this work in the lives of many people. On one occasion, there was a man in a church who used to criticize others without mercy. I always found some defect in others. Then, this man began to attend Bible studies in his congregation. The other believers noticed that he brought his Bible and that he took notes in the classes. During a period of 10 years God sent this man many difficulties. But he grew spiritually in a surprising way and became one of the kindest people we have ever met.
