Learn from our mistakes

Hebrews 2:18 "For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted."

One of the most important things we have to do in our lives is to learn to overcome temptations, and also learn to communicate to our neighbors how to do it. We have the ability to overcome them because God sent us his son Jesus to show us how to do it. Just as Jesus gave us teachings, we can become teachers so that our neighbors do not fall into unnecessary sins, into temptations of daily life.

Every day we learn something new, or at least every day God gives us the opportunity to learn more about our lives and about our achievements. We have to listen to him, because He is the main teacher. On the other hand, we have to share his teachings with the people who cross our paths.

A person who has overcome temptation, either because he fell into it and came out victorious or because he managed to turn his sins around, is the best person to teach others how to do it. As there are so many temptations, let's think of them as parts of life in which we are specializing and to which we face each other in a different way.

It may be that a person who has been able to overcome the lie, can share their learning with a person who has overcome envy. We are a society created by God, under his image and likeness, as well as with all his love, for which we have the responsibility to act together and build based on the teachings we have all had of life.

It is useless to learn about life if we do not share it with others and if we are not willing to listen to the learning of our friends, our relatives, our neighbors and even the people we do not know.

We must remember that the learning that God sends us with all his love, are not always manifested in obvious ways in our lives. Sometimes we get great learnings from simply beautiful moments: from a reflection we have while we give ourselves the opportunity to observe a sunset, from a moment of frustration that we have while we can not get work. In short, in many ways it is that God expresses himself in our lives. We must pay attention.

God is perfect and as such is the only one who can completely overcome sin, but we can and must learn from Him to get as far as we can from temptations. In addition, we always have the opportunity to listen to others, who are also works of God and who cross our lives for many reasons, including the divine will.

If we feel blessed with everything that happens to us, we will find the humility to go through life learning from the life of Jesus, the love of God, our faith and all that our brothers have to share with us and make us grow.
