An Original Poem- JESUS, My First LOVE

I heard a voice , very tiny and still,
At first, I couldn't recognize where it was coming from,
But the voice kept calling.
I was afraid thinking my brains were nuts.
But his voice was the most beautiful voice I ever heard,
So, I chilled and decided to hear him.

He told me how much he loves me,
He told me he will fix all my sorrows,
He sounded so real and genuine,
He said, "your sins are forgiven",
And that all will be well,
He whispered to me, "I love you".

I didn't know whether to give him a chance,
My situation was messy and twisted,
I have been betrayed by those who proclaim love,
I was lost, nobody cared,
I gave up hope on existence and humanity,
But my heart kept pondering at his word.

Could this be real?
It was a dream after all so I thought,
But he kept telling me to give him my heart,
He said you're no longer alone,
Come follow me, my child, and be free.
My grace and love is sufficient for you,

So, I followed my heart and followed him,
And my life became anew.
I felt what true love means,
He is truly my first and true love,
At last, my painful days are over,
I could sleep with my eyes closed,
His love filled my heart with joy,

Our relationship has not been easy,
With mountains and hills to climb.
But his word makes it easier to not to give up,
He has never left me for a day,
He carried my troubles like his,
He told me sweet encouragements.

He watches over me while I sleep.
Why me, I ask,
His love is pure,
His love is sweet,
His love is beautiful,
And, I love him more than life itself.

My first love and last love,
My everlasting friend,
He is my everything,
Jesus, my true love,
You are all I have and need,
I am happy whenever I am with you.

I love you because you found me first,
I love you because you meant every word,
I love you because you love me more,
I love you because you didn't give up on us,
Jesus, my first love, I love you.
