the strength of my life? Christ!
I can do everything in Christ who strengthens me.

And that was exactly what Paul meant in the phrase I can do it in Christ. That is the way, that is the way you must follow. Remember that you are a member of His body, which is the Church; He is the head of the body and you have to act in the context of His will and the purpose He has for your life. Your will is like the way of a train, it is like the way and the direction you should follow.

Paul was not saying that we can do all of the things we set out to do. But, without a doubt, we can carry out all that God has prepared for us to do since he saved us, until he takes us out of the world.
I can do everything in Christ who strengthens me. Surely, this does not mean that He places in us unlimited power to do whatever we want. He is the one who gives us the strength, the one who enables us to fulfill all that is foreseen in His will for our life. When we act in this way, united to Christ, we are like the train moving on the road, that is, we are irresistible. No human factor can stop us. But in the same moment that we separate or deviate from that glorious position that we have, leaving the sphere of God's will, whether for sin, for pretending to act under our own will, we will fail, we will not get anywhere and what we do will become ruins. But if we remain in the divine ways, we can, like the train, reach its destination and fulfill God's purpose. Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ said in John 15: 7, 7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done to you. Consequently, before asking anything of God, let's make sure of where we are. Because it is essential to be under His will.
And to know the will of God, it is essential to know the Bible. Dear listener, how much time do you spend in contact with the Word of God? And it is not about reading a part of the Bible that we especially like. It is necessary to have a total knowledge of the Bible to have a complete perspective of God's will for our life, that is, we will have a firm base on which to act. Let's not forget the emphasis of this paragraph that we have covered. There is joy, there is satisfaction, there is an authentic and absolute pleasure in living acting in the context of God's will, in doing what He wants us to do.

The Lord Jesus Christ. Remember that Psalm 40: 6-8 is part of the Old Testament prophecy because it recorded the words of the One who would do what God really wanted him to do. That passage prophetically anticipated some of the words that Christ pronounced at his first coming to this world. The psalm was quoted in Hebrews 10: 5-7, and from there we highlight the following words of the writer when introducing his quote, and the words of Christ himself: Therefore, upon entering the world, Christ said: . . Here I am. . . I have come, O God, to do your will.

Also, "Philippians 4:13" is a verse that talks about contentment, not resolved dreams or goals achieved. It's about being happy, conforming and faithful even in the toughest moments of your life.

We can do everything because Christ gives us strength, hope and faith and as his followers we can continue to carry out his work in this world.
