13 How long, Jehovah? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?

2 How long will I put advice in my soul,
With sorrows in my heart every day?
How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

3 Look, answer me, O Lord my God;
Light my eyes, so that I do not sleep with death;

4 So my enemy won't say: I defeated him.
My enemies would be glad if I slipped.

5 But I have trusted in your mercy;
My heart will be glad in your salvation.

6 I will sing to Jehovah,
Because it has done me good.
