Let God choose for you

H iFamily, my message is special to answer the doubts of some followers of Jesus.

And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and all the congregation said unto him, Ah! If they died in the land of Egypt! Oh, ah! If he died in this desert! Numbers 14: 2

Do not long for it, let it be God to choose for you.

Readers, I usually express: it is better to have knowledge of the problems of others, than to have ourselves to face them. Of course I do not want any harm to knock on the door, but the truth is that we learn a lot from their experiences.

One of the greatest tragedies of the people of Israel, (people of God), was, almost about the time of their entry into Canaan, to murmur against who had led them there to assure them peace.

At the doors of that place, where God wanted to lead them, they refused to enter now, preferring to continue in the uncomfortable desert, instead of trusting him. God had promised them that they would inherit a land: fed up and with their continued presence. This was the concert between God and the people:

"And he also established my concert with them (people of Israel), to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were pilgrims, and I have also heard the wailing of the children of Israel, to whom the Egyptians they enslaved, and I remembered my concert, Exodus 6: 4-5.

What happens today is that the people accept everything that their eyes come and their hands touch, forgetting so many times those who suffer to defend their position in Christ.

Unconsidering God's concern, Israel did not know what he wanted.

Beloved, we did not fall into the same error. The Word of God teaches us that all those and those who were used by Him, who marked their time, had to leave their comfort zone to face what would come next.

With God at their side, they banished fears and walked in new ways, often taking radical decisions to achieve goals, which are still invisible there.

What are you worried about this morning? U.S? Resist the counsel of the Word of God when He advises us to do something again? Or then back away with fear that He does not keep His promises?

By giving his Son Jesus for us, it was more than enough to prove what He loves us and is interested in our good living. He showed how much he cared about our lives and continues to do everything so we can achieve new successes.

"The change that God has made in our lives has allowed us to be what we are today." Why wait for tomorrow, what should we do today? Continue the same, comforted and disinterested or progress to reach a better place?

I feel very sad, when the Christian has received everything to be strong, in safety, and little by little, he loses the vision of the objectives that God has prepared for him. Like this people, Israel, does not know what you want, and you know, does not strive to achieve it.

The work that God wants to accomplish in our lives and, through them, implies perpetual and constant changes and they will only end when He arrives at His presence!

It is no use to promise that, once saved, saved forever. It would be a monumental mistake. We have to continue persevering to guarantee the precious salvation that He himself paid with his blood.

"Having this very truth, that he who in you began the good work will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1: 6
