Day # 1 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5: 3

I will begin today to publish the Beatitudes taught by Jesus according to the Gospel of Matthew. According to the call of the Apostle @darlenys01 in the direction of @sc-v.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5: 3

Poor in spirit, that is, poor by their election, by their free will, those who are poor not by necessity, but by giving more importance to spiritual things.

A man can be a millionaire, but totally disconnected from money; and be bound to the things of the spirit, poor in spirit. On the other hand, a man can be a beggar, a street dweller, and completely attached to his plots, from love to money he does not have.

A rich man may not suffer if he loses the money he has, while a poor person may suffer for the money he does not have.

We can not think that God has a preference for the poor. This idea was implanted over the centuries as a way to keep the mass quiet, without revolt. But those who preached and preach that God prefers the poor almost always live very well, with many material resources, without knowing what it is to be poor.

The apostle Peter reminds us that "God does not show partiality" (Acts 10:34). God is impartial, he does not take anyone's party.

There is nothing wrong with having money. What is wrong is not to own money, but to be possessed by money.

The poor in spirit, then, are those who have already become aware and, little by little, free themselves from the domain of matter and giving due importance to the spirit. They are those who are freed from the need for material possession.

The poor by the spirit, or beggars of the spirit, humble in spirit, recognized their spiritual poverty and became receptive to God, receptive to their Christ.

This condition of receptivity, that anxiety for spiritual things, is the foundation of all the other Beatitudes.

Without this condition of poverty by the spirit there would be no conditions to practice or experience the other beatitudes.

We really like the revelation of this message; without this bliss we can not perform the others, from this we can move forward and experience the rest.

I like how he focused I interpreted this controversial verse.

Thanks for sharing

The kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are poor in spirit.
