Steemitbasicincome Contest Entry

Hi everyone I am @sweetjoy. I have been on Steemit since December. This platform is great and allows me to express my creativity. Steem will be the platform of the future
I was anti internet for a long while. The low electomagnetic waves are real and dangerous. I was also against the addiction to the internet. In July I started watching youtube work out videos. I then came accross various video content makers complaining about the demonetazation and censorship on You tube. There were mean people called trolls on every channel. Some people believe they are computer bots pretending to be real people. The solution was other platforms like Reddit, Dtube, Dmania and Steemit to name a few. People were excited to have a new platform. And making money not only from videos, but comments, written posts and upvotes was a definite incentive. I got on Steemit and was hooked.
I made so many mistakes in the beginning but all is well now. Asking others, doing research and actually reading the FAQ (frequently Asked Questions is an absolute must.
So far i have made almost $75 here on Steemit. It seems like monopoly money now but in the future it will be real!

 The commenting,  posting and voting has given me a sense of purpose.  I have volunteered and done community work many years.  I would like to open my own community center.  It would serve the young and old to try to bridge the gap between generations.  I have also posted stories, songs, given advice and resteemed others great posts.  Its fun.  I have even posted poetry and photography.  I feel my creativity has been set free!

The people on Steemit are so nice. All of earths good seeds seemed to gravitate to Steemit. Some pepple left Steemit when the crypto and financial market went sour. The real Steemers stuck in there for the long haul. There were some good people had to leave because of financial reasons. They will return.
