It doesn't take long to get rep if you are active making comments. It is when you get to level 59 it starts taking longer to level up. I would increase the rep level to 59. I leveled up to 57 in my first 4 days on steemit.
Wow! It didn’t take me long to get to 39(still a lot longer than you though) but have been having a hard time reaching above that. My biggest issue has been bandwidth issues. Thanks for the advice though and I may change that requirement in the next giveaway. :-)

Its only taken me 7 months to 'approach' reputation 57...
I guess your content must be that much better! Good on you. ^_^
Relevant commenting is what helps your rep more than anything. I have been busy lately but soon my time will free back up. But I was commenting on upwards to 40 posts a day.

I have a tendency to write what ever is on my mind about any given topic. And I know people can' t just copy what works for others. But I truly believe that is what went further than anything. Maybe I did catch the right attention early on. I stumbled upon steemit and didn't know anyone or really anything about crypto at the time. I just like to write, share and learn. I also love to discuss things and as you can see my cooments can get a little long..
Oh and my content isn't the best but isn't the worst but it is orignal and my own.
Oh I wasn't begrudging you for your success. I only found your comment about attaining reputation 57 in 4 days to be a bit of a rib-shot. :cP
Just because I had a hard time of it doesn't mean that I expect every other user to have a hard time of it. I am genuinely glad that you've had a better time of it. Perhaps it is about loving to discuss things and making relevant and long comments.
Oh - and having original content is something that we can both agree is a major positive.
I hope you didn't think I thought you were. I have a tendency to ramble. But I didn't think you were being begrudging at all. I have a problem if being too helpful without being asked. You should see the advice I leave for those who spam the platform. I don't use flags as a first line as many do. I tell them what they are doing wrong, the tell them how to fix it, then if they keep spamming the platform I flag. I have way to many opinionated thoughts sometimes for my own good. And you keep putting out comments like the ones in this feed, you will start to climb up to that 59 at a faster rate. Once you get to 59 it takes longer to level up. This last one has take me nearly 2 months to level up. In the next day or two I think I should hit rep 63 but it has taken a lot longer.
It crossed my mind. Better safe than sorry. :c)
It seems that we both have similar issues. We both tend to be a little over-helpful and we both hesitate to flag (myself moreso than you, it appears).
Thanks again for your advice. I'm sure that reputation growth shall continue organically.

Recently I have had a couple of comment reward pool rapers test me. But most of the time people listen to the advice and stop spamming comments.
