Hey partner! I am so sorry to tell you that I will not be able to help you tomorrow, today (Wednesday- 10-9). My brothers wife has been in the hospital for 2 weeks now and was scheduled for surgery today (Tuesday) but it was cancelled because she took a turn for the worse. I need to be there for them. Hopefully next week will bring better news. I apologize.
Thanks Hun! I will be able to help you tomorrow. Am I on top or bottom?
My poor SIL has been through hell and back but is finally on the mend now. She almost died. It all started when she fell and fractured her right knee. After 3 days in the hospital they put her in a nursing home/rehab facility while waiting approval from her heart doctor for knee surgery. She has a-fib (sp?). While in the nursing home, they said she fell out of her wheel chair, on her left side but there were no injuries. Went to visit and her right eye was black and blue and swollen shut. She complained of her right side hurting and that she couldn't breath. She also didn;t recognize me or my brother and was talking to people who were deceased or not in the room. We had her transferred back to the hospital and they found that all of her ribs on her right side were broken and punctured her lung. Blood was filling up in her lung so they put a chest tube in to drain. While in the hospital she began having convulsions and they couldn't control them. Finally, her heart stopped during one and she was put on a ventilator for 3 days. She woke up, they took her off of the ventilator and she could breath on her own. She was her old self again. She was moved out of ICU 2 days ago. We think all of this happened because the nursing home put her on 2 of their pain meds without telling us and she had a bad reaction to them. They have taken tests from head to toe, twice and can;t find anything wrong with her or her brain. So there you have it. I thank God that she is finally herself again.
Hi sweetie, what a nightmare! Your poor SIL. Hard to believe it's possible to almost die from a fractured knee! Those nursing homes are dreadful places. I'm sure that in the one my dad ended up in, they drugged the elderly people up to the eyeballs so they could better manage them with as few staff as possible.
You're on top tomorrow by my reckoning which of course is always spot on. It'll be interesting to see what all these nuts have to say about Pecans.
Listen, try to stay out of trouble until then will ya?
I agree with what they do to the people in the nursing homes and it is so sad.
Tops it is! See ya in nutty land. Stay out of trouble? I would love to. I thought I would die when my internet service didn't work last night but as you can see, it is working now. You would have been screaming for a new partner! LOL!
