Having some real experts that are programmers, server admins, blockchain experts, etc would be very beneficial. Social media types usually don't understand all the programming and hardware that goes into making a site fast and efficient. My fear is this group will give a whole bunch of suggestions to Steemit Inc that will be costly and taxing on the blockchain's performance.

Ultimately it still @ned's money and he's going to spend it how he sees fit.
