Cake beans is made from beans.
Beans is one of the grain foods, popularly grown in Africa, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
This specie of beans is the best specie for cake bean⁸s. It is reach on proteins and can be malleable. This beans can be processed to give us the cake beans as a product when it is processed.
The processes involved includes:
Soak the beans like an hour and extract the shell
Sieve the real beans out and mix it together with sliced onions and fresh pepper.
Grind it all together in a grinding machine
Put the paste or the moist beans into a container or a mutter
Add salt to taste and add water to moist it moderately and turn it round to moist very well and pasta very well.
Start steaming the oil. Remember it is a deep frying method, so enough oil is needed to fry it. Steam oil to 100c boiling point and low heat.
It is at this point that you will start inserting the paste into the oil one after the other with a spoon or any scooping object you can find.
Then allow it for 3minutes to 4minutes frying then turn the other side. And also allow for the same time duration or more, but be careful not to let it get burnt.
After which it is ready for food
Many serve it with pap for break fast others serve with tea.
