I am here to participate in this contest organizing in this community. Agriculture is very important because without it human will die of starvation. We need to encourage farmers to do more so that food can be available to solve the problem of food insecurity.

What do you understand by Agricultural Entrepreneurship

Agricultural entrepreneurship is the process of agricultural production where entrepreneurs market the farmers' farm products such as rice, beans, oranges, and other different types of crops. Agricultural entrepreneurship promotes economic growth of a country, and most agricultural entrepreneurs market the farm products by using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Some also use their blogs to generate income. To provide more explanation, most people find it difficult to understand about certain type of plant. Agricultural entrepreneurs aim to increase the farmers' production as well as to generate more profit for them. They also provide information to the farmers about what is going on in the market as well as what customers really need so that they can meet their demand.

Agricultural entrepreneurs serve as the main job, either on a large or small scale, for others. In this aspect, they can stand on their own without depending on anybody for survival.

The following are the activities agricultural entrepreneur engage them self into for the smooth running of this agric businesses.

• Food packaging and preservation: Proper management by entrepreneur can reduce food wastage. this can be done by building warehouse where they can store the farm product from rodent and thief from stealing it. they also preserve the food from the spoilage. doing this will add market value to the agricultural products.

• Production of agriculture input: Some farmers can start or engage in the production of seed, chemical and other useful agricultural material to yield the farmers production output.

• Service providers: Most of the entrepreneur operate in rural area engage in providing services to the farmers by lease agricultural farm tool such as tractors, planter, and so on. most agricultural entrepreneur diagnosis the sick animal and adminster appropriate treatment for their wellbeing.

• Using of technology: Agricultural entrepreneurs use agricultural technology, such as drones, to monitor the farm and also use it to spray pesticides on their plants. The use of technology in this aspect helps them find solutions that hinder their farm's growth.

Conclusion

Agricultural entrepreneurs play a crucial role by promoting farmers products so that the rest of the world can see that certain products are available in one country. I would like to invite @rossnenye, @bonaventure24 and @solaymann to participate in this contest.
