IS STEEM A STORE OF VALUE?
Whether or not steem is a store of value gave me a reason to consider cryptoasset holistically.
With the coming of digital currencies like bitcoin ,litecoin, etherum and especially steem(4/o7/2016 steemit inc officially lunched a social media with virtual currency reward that runs over the steem blockchain). Many people’s horizon have broaden as to what and of what form an asset can take. In the past decade, store of value are majorly land and gold.

Anything that is a good store of value must maintain similar level of importance with time. by this I imply been able to retain or even appreciate but certainly not depreciate in its power to purchase –qualitative and quantitative aspect of the said item.

FACT;
Steem is a digital gold.
The value of something is a subjective term.in a bit to fathom new innovation, humans always deploy analogic thinking. If increasing number of people want to hold steem (definitely), because they know it is gold in valuable sense.it will create a n upward shift on price and potentially retain its value thus gaining more power. Now a reality since the involvement of many investors @sanghkaang,@bitone,@gogumacat,@superremnant,@lifeworldmission, even the first person to invest in bitcoin. this is an indication that emphasis will move from bitcoin to steem in the nearest future.

Transaction is a very crucial tool possessed by its store of value. The goodnews is that u can now transact bitcoin for steem and buy anything in any part of the world –the first lamborhgini company transaction for bitcoin is not a new story. Fixed /deflationary supply
Similarly, steem should have (if not had) a stable, predictable increase in supply. the fixed supply mechanism give steem deflationary characteristics over the long term. However, an inflationary cryptoasset could easily maintain a surprisingly highier valuation than a deflationary one.

How?
Now by creating more demand to hold crypto value due to utility value or some other required attributes. Steem value at their basic fundamentally levels are potentially useful technology. usuage will drive utility value and sustain long-term usefulness in store of value than cryptoasset monetory policies alone…..
