Good thing you had no friendlies beside you when you got bloodlust and took it out on the hulk.
Unfortunately, your torch is still lying on the ground, however, since you did find a shotgun earlier, you were able to blast a huge hole in the hulk and kill him, earning a life force. Your search was a bust and you only found some flour.
